CHINA PARTNERSHIP: Praise God for the growing demand for Bibles in China and for the Amity Press, which has printed more than 41 million Bibles for distribution in mainland China over the last 20 years. With the help of Bible Societies around the world, we have been able to provide subsidised Bible paper for the press since it started, but we now face a shortage of funds: please pray for adequate funds to become available so that this vital work can continue.

 

NEPAL: Praise God for the positive political change in our country, which has been brought about through prayer. As new opportunities open up, pray that we are able to work effectively to address the needs of Nepali Christians by providing appropriate Scriptures. Lift up the National Council, the Executive Committee and the entire staff of the Nepal Bible Society, and the translators working on the Nepali New Revised Version Bible.

 

MONGOLIA: There is ongoing work to translate and check Mongolian Scriptures, which are available in two versions. Please continue to pray for the Mongolian Church which is carrying out this work and for the UBS and SIL Translation Consultants helping them. Please also pray for the mission groups in this country.
