On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the management of the Support Raising Working Group (KKPD) of the Indonesian Bible Institute (LAI) Makassar Partner was officially inaugurated in a worship service held at the South Sulawesi Christian Church (GKSS) Jemaat Imanuel Moncongloe, Gowa Regency. KKPD Makassar as a volunteer group supporting LAI's ministry in Makassar and South Sulawesi consists of 18 members from various churches and universities in Makassar and surrounding areas. Mr. Juparto Pasaribu, from HKBP, has been appointed as the chairman of the Makassar LAI Partner Group for the second time.

Pdt. Libert Simatupang in his sermon brought up the passage from Luke 10:1-20, which is the story of Jesus sending 70 other disciples. Rev. Libert hoped that God's servants, especially the newly appointed members of the Makassar MCC would be inspired by the Scripture reading and apply it in their daily ministry by: 1. Focus on service, 2. Support each other and 3. Always rejoice in carrying out the ministry because our reward is not on earth, but our names are recorded in heaven.

The Head of the LAI Representative Office in Makassar, Mrs. Diana Rampan, stated that there are two targets or plans that will be carried out by LAI and the Makassar LAI Partner MPA, namely:  carrying out the presentation of LAI's vision and mission in various churches and preparing for the Bible Mission Gathering (BMG) by inviting the Maluku community to support the One in Love (SDK) Program in the Seram Island and Buru Island regions in Maluku.

The day before, July 5, 2025, the General Secretary of LAI, Dr. Sigit Triyono, briefed the new Makassar CEC members on the vision and mission of LAI and the role of the CEC as a partner of LAI in implementing the vision and mission and ministry programs of LAI. He hoped that each of the elected members would remain faithful in sustaining the ministry of LAI.
