The journey to spread the good news in Magelang on June 20 & 24, 2025 became a special moment for the Indonesian Bible Institute (LAI) Team consisting of Mrs. Erna Yulianawati, Mrs. Caroline Marlissa, and Bonita Panjaitan. During this visit, the team enthusiastically introduced LAI's various ministry programs, ranging from Satu Dalam Kasih (SDK), Bible translation of the New Translation 2nd Edition (TB2), to the latest digital applications, ALIN (Interactive Bible) and Memra.

During the five days of ministry, the LAI Team had the valuable opportunity to conduct SDK presentations in eight churches in Magelang and surrounding areas. The churches included: GKI Pajajaran, GKJ Magelang, GKJ Plengkung, GKI Muntilan, GPdI Eben Haezer Tidar Baru, Magelang Community Church (MCC), GKI Jalan P. Diponegoro 57 Magelang, and GKI Pahlawan. At GKI Muntilan and MCC, the ministry was completed with the distribution of TB2 Bibles as well as the symbolic handover of Bibles to the local pastors, which was welcomed with great joy.

On Monday, the LAI Team had two important agendas. In the morning, LAI was entrusted with presenting at the Indonesian Pastors Association (API) and Inter-Church Consultative Body (BAMAG) Meeting held at GBI Pahlawan, Magelang. The event was opened with a joint worship service, followed by a presentation of LAI's ministry.

In that warm atmosphere, Rev. Yohanes Willy Sujarwi, as the Chairman of API and Pastor of Isa Almasih Church Magelang, invited the servants of God in Magelang to support the Indonesian Bible Institute to spread the good news to remote areas of Indonesia. This call is a great encouragement for LAI to start a ministry partnership in Magelang.

On Monday afternoon, LAI held a special meeting with several church representatives, namely Rev. Eka (GKI Pajajaran), Rev. Gladys (GKJ Plengkung), Rev. Oey Meng Hooy (MCC), Mr. Agustinus and Mikael (GIA Magelang), Mr. Djudjun (GKI Pajajaran), and Mr. Yusuf (Elder of GKI Pajajaran). The purpose of this meeting was to form a Support Gathering Working Group (KKPD) for the Magelang region.

In this meeting, the LAI Team presented LAI's vision and mission, ministry programs, a detailed explanation of the MPA, and introduced the ALIN and Memra digital applications. The participants understood the importance of LAI's ministry, and were open to getting involved in supporting the spread of the Bible throughout Indonesia. Their awareness of the importance of this mission grew, and their hearts were moved to support God's work through LAI.

One of the participants, Mr. Yusuf from GKI Pajajaran, proposed that LAI could deliver a ministry testimony in church fellowships in Magelang. He hoped that through this testimony, more of God's people in Magelang will be moved to support the ministry of spreading the Bible to remote areas.

Positive enthusiasm was also seen towards LAI's digital programs, as well as children's ministry, especially the Good News for Children (KBUA) Program. The participants found the program very relevant, and committed to communicate it further to the Christian Child Activist Community (KOMPAK) in Magelang. They hope that children in Magelang can grow in strong faith through these programs.
