On Monday 26 June 2023, the MNC Centre Prayer Fellowship (PD MNC Centre) presented a financial donation to support the distribution of Bibles in remote areas. The donation was handed over in person by a representative of the PD MNC Centre to the LAI at the Bible Centre Building. This donation follows on from a commitment made during a Christian staff worship service at MNC Tower, located in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on 12 May 2023. During the service, led by LAI staff member Rev. Speiro Caringin Sukaryanatha, LAI outlined its ministry programmes and invited MNC employees to support the realisation of the vision of making the Bible accessible to everyone. 

The handover of the financial support was carried out symbolically by the Deputy Chair of PD MNC Centre, Eva Imuly, and received directly by Evi L. Sidabutar. PD MNC Centre donated 150 Bibles to God’s people living in remote areas. “We trust that LAI will distribute these directly and effectively to the congregation,” said Eva. “It is not just about reading the Word of God, but also about bringing that Word to life so that their lives may be improved even further,” Eva continued. 

Present at the meeting were Eva Imuly, as Head of the Project Management Office at PT MNC Life Insurance, Evi Larosa Sidabutar, Head of Research at the LAI Communications Department, and Krisdayanti Ramba, Support Mobilisation Officer at the LAI Communications Department. (pp)
