Life's challenges and difficulties often come unexpectedly. They crush us to the core. It feels like shouting at the top of our lungs but hesitating for fear of not being heard and the situation not changing at all. However, as believers, we know that our cries will be heard by Him. Struggles and challenges as difficult as any can be faced with Him.

Today we want to learn from the verses of the psalmist based on a reflection of the struggles that King David experienced. Precisely when David was pursued by Saul and threatened with death. In that predicament, like David, the psalmist taught that God alone was able to protect and help him. God is the only helper who will keep believers away from various threats. If there is no justice around mankind, then only God is the source of justice and the place where we hope. He will defend the righteous and sustain those who rely on Him.

Therefore, based on His goodness and help, it is fitting for us to rely on Him always and be grateful for all His works. By constantly giving thanks and crying out to Him, we are reminded that we are never alone in facing the storms of life's struggles."

Today, we may be experiencing some of life's problems. Hope seems lost and we lose the spirit to live life. Let's calm our hearts and minds and remember that God is our only refuge. Just as King David was afflicted with many struggles in life, but always remembered His love and protection, so we are invited to also believe that God will help us and deliver us from distress.
