One cruel reality that we often see in our daily lives is that many people who do evil, cheat, and scheming, their lives are actually fine and even look so good and comfortable. While those who struggle desperately to live honestly and righteously have to experience various inconveniences in life. Usually, in response to such situations, we can only lament with concern and ask if God's justice will soon be revealed.
This question was also part of the preacher's contemplation. He sees that power is often abused. The strong oppress the weak. As if the show of wickedness wasn't enough, he added another observation. The wicked are often buried with honour and remembered well. While the crimes he committed go unpunished.
On the other hand, the preacher also observes how the righteous experience hardship and injustice in life. So there are bad people who enjoy success, while good people struggle with suffering. How to deal with this reality? First of all, the preacher invites his readers to realise the limitations of human wisdom, including in assessing and interpreting reality. We are not able to fully understand all the realities of life. So live the life given by God as it is because God is still working even though we cannot fully understand how God works. Trust in God who is the source of true justice and goodness. What we see of the "success" of the wicked in covering up their evil is a temporary success that pales in comparison to the eternal righteousness achieved through submission to His wisdom. All that the wicked gain with all their cunning and wickedness will not last long.
Then let us live our lives with full awareness of life choices and their various consequences in the future. Instant and easy choices, but breaking His commandments is often very attractive. Moreover, many people are on that path. But remember this life is mortal, the pleasure gained from cheating is also temporary. Direct your life towards the realisation of His wisdom and will always that leads to eternity.
