Audience & LAI and Dept. PI of the GBI Synod:

On Monday, 5 February 2024, the Indonesian Bible Institute (LAI) held a meeting with the Department of Evangelism, Synod of Bethel Church Indonesia (Dept. PI Synod GBI). The meeting which was held in the Bethlehem Room, GBI Mawar Saron was attended by all Administrators and Members of the Dept. PI of the GBI Synod.

This meeting stems from a positive initiative when LAI met with the Pastor and Church Management of GBI Mawar Saron. "The LAI programme is very good and deserves to be supported and disseminated", explained Pastor Yohanes Nahuway. Furthermore, LAI was invited to attend the meeting of the Dept. PI meeting of the GBI Synod. The hope is that between LAI and the GBI Synod, there will be collaboration and partnership in the spread of the Good News.

In a meeting full of togetherness LAI presented its various ministry programmes through video shows of Bible distribution trips to remote areas of the archipelago carried out throughout 2023. The presentation from LAI was responded positively and enthusiastically. Between LAI and Dept. PI Synod of GBI seems to have alignment and understanding of vision in a joint effort to expand the ministry of the Gospel.

The GBI Synod agreed to contribute to the One in Love (SDK) ministry which has been one of the focuses of LAI's ministry. The PI Department of the GBI Synod will soon form a Small Team to further discuss the cooperation between the two institutions and implement this collaboration.

LAI's ministry is one of the focuses of LAI's ministry.

This agreement is not only a step forward for both parties, but also provides new hope for God's people who will benefit from this collaboration. This ministry partnership is expected to inspire us together to unite in our mission to build and spread the Good News. (yosaba)
