Feeling safe and peaceful is the dream of every human being. There is not a single person who does not want it. However, we must realize that this desire is not always realized. There can be threats and dangers in our lives. We are in a great struggle or an unending threat. If this happens, rest assured that help will come as long as we ask Him earnestly.

In our passage, we see the psalmist pleading for deliverance from the wicked who always cause trouble. He knows that only in the Lord can he find refuge. So he asks God to be the rock that provides protection, defense, and brings salvation. Under His protection danger cannot come near. Those who are ungodly and wicked will quickly move away.

The psalmist was aware that his life had been at its lowest point. It is precisely then that he realizes that in his fragility, only God is able to provide help. From here we see the relationship with God that is so deeply intertwined between the people and their Lord.

Bible friends, let us live our lives with hope. God always provides His protection. The most important thing for us is to maintain our relationship with Him and remember the experiences of life that are proof of His love and help. Everyone has suffered, but only a few are willing to walk with God and put their hope in Him. The remembrance of God's work and the experience of walking with Him will give birth to a strong belief that God will definitely not deliver us into danger.
