Five thousand people are also expected to attend LAI's 65th anniversary event on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 17.00-21.00 WIB at Britama Arena Mahaka Square Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. The event, which is framed as a Thanksgiving Service and Appreciation Night for LAI's Partners, will feature the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Jokowi.

Every attendee will receive a special gift that includes the book "INSPIRATION GENERATION", 65 testimonies of life with the Bible, a book that reveals many of God's miraculous life stories through the Bible.

Special stories from Rev. Mgr Suharyo, Rev. Dr. Stephen Tong, Rev. Dr. A.A. Yewangoe, senior singer Grace Simon, Henny Purwonegoro, to youth idols Jonathan Christie and Antoni Ginting, among others, can be read in the book. Some of them will testify briefly at LAI's 65th anniversary event.

LAI is very grateful that in its 65-year journey of ministry it has proven that God's guidance is real. One form of His guidance is the tremendous support of LAI's partners. All of LAI's work ranging from translation, publishing and printing, dissemination, efforts to make the Bible a guide for people's lives, advocacy and service and Bible testimony has always been carried out in the spirit of partnership with God's people and Church institutions in Indonesia.

It is seven days until the LAI Partner Appreciation and Thanksgiving Night. The committee continues to work hard with one heart, enthusiasm and focus accompanied by special prayers to ensure all preparations run smoothly and well. This anniversary moment is believed to be a means of strengthening LAI's partnership with all parishioners, Church institutions, government and other stakeholders. Thus the procession of ministry in the field of the Bible will continue into the future and indefinitely.

LAI's 65th anniversary series of events will continue until the end of 2019 with several programs being finalized by the committee. Children will be invited to Jamboree in the National Children's Jamboree program in July 2019. There will also be a Translation Seminar in collaboration with the Kalimantan Evangelical Church (GKE). A crusade and Bible Week will also be organized.
