The Indonesian Bible Institute (LAI) will once again hold Bible Week 2025, and the host is North Sulawesi, specifically Manado. Together with the Inter-Church Consultative Body of Indonesian Christian Religious Institutions (BAMAG LKKI), Bible Week activities will be open to the public from November 13-15, 2025, at the Grand Kawanua CityWalk Mall, Manado. In a press conference with a number of media in Manado, the chairman of the North Sulawesi Bible Week 2025 committee, Rev. Drs. Ferdy Poluan, M.Th. said that this activity aims to foster a love of the Bible in God's people from children to adults, increase people's knowledge of the contents of the Bible through various activities, to introduce LAI and its role in Bible ministry in Indonesia.
In addition, Mrs. Ansye Wattimury as the Head of LAI Manado Representative added that Bible Week is indeed an annual LAI program that has been held in many cities in Indonesia, but apparently this activity is the first time held in Manado. "Not necessarily next year in Manado, because we have programmed other cities," said Mrs. Ansye. She also added that the Bible Week is conducted in a fun way so that God's people can be more “ familiar ” with His word. For your information, this Bible Week is ecumenical because since its implementation in 2011 until now, this program has always involved all church denominations in the location, both in the committee (preparation) and in its implementation.
For the next three days, Christians in North Sulawesi can see up close and interact directly with various things related to the Bible. There will be an Exhibition of the LAI Bible Museum Collection, an Exhibition of LAI Published Products at low prices, seminars, as well as various competitions for various ages.
Let God's people celebrate God's love through the Bible together in North Sulawesi Bible Week 2025. May this event glorify God's name and foster biblical spirituality in line with this year's Bible Week theme. "zvp]
