This year's Bible Week in Balikpapan presents a unique experience with the presence of the LAI museum exhibit inside Living Plaza Balikpapan Mall. This event marks the last museum exhibit to be organised in the city during Bible Week 2024.
The exhibition ran from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and featured various Bible collections as well as exciting activities such as colouring competitions for children. The enthusiasm of visitors was high, both from church members who wanted to explore the historical objects in the Bible and from those who intended to buy Bibles and storybooks. In fact, some participants of the colouring competition came early just to see the exhibition first.
A total of 4000 visitors filled the event, with the added surprise of the presence of Grezia Epiphania, a spiritual child singer, with her family. Although Grezia is visually impaired, she touched the hearts of many as she stood before a display of Braille Bibles. Her piano-trained hands touched the letters of the Braille Bible while enjoying the tinkling of the cymbals in the exhibition.
It was a moment of gratitude for the diverse ways God addresses the hearts of His people through various mediums.
