As the year draws to a close, we often find ourselves reflecting on time. It is something we cannot grasp and can only submit to. However, as believers, we know that there is a God who is above all things including time. Everyone who exalts the name of the Lord and lives in His will will be enabled to live a good life. Throughout the ages, He confirms Himself as the God who keeps covenant with His people.

On the basis of God's work and salvation, believers throughout the ages are invited to take refuge in God and proclaim His work in all our lives. Those who seek God will always experience joy and happiness. His face can be found in deep reflection and contemplation of the good works He has done. Those who seek Him will always find God's protection even in the midst of the difficult times.

Thankfully, today we are reaffirmed by His word that God always keeps His covenant with His people. Just as He once guarded and protected the people of Israel, so too the Lord's love and protection is always extended to those who seek His face continually. Thus, although the future is always a mystery. We will not be afraid of it because there is a God who guards and helps.
