Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia (LAI) successfully held its 2024 Family Gathering event on June 28, 2024 with the theme "Gelorakan Kebersamaan"at Mambruk Hotel and Convention, Anyer. The event, which was attended by all LAI employees from both the Salemba head office and the printing press, aimed to refresh the work atmosphere and build a family spirit among employees.

The Board of Yayasan Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia (YLAI) realizes that in order to achieve maximum service to its customers and partners, employees are often under high work pressure. To answer this struggle, the LAI Employee Family Gathering activity program is presented as a solution to refresh the work atmosphere and strengthen the bond between employees.

Lydia Rina, the person in charge of the event, expressed her gratitude to the entire committee who had worked hard to make this event a success. "Even though the event was not held at Gelora Bung Karno, the excitement was palpable in Anyer," she said enthusiastically.

Mambruk Hotel and Convention located in Anyer was the perfect choice for the LAI 2024 Family Gathering. The beach atmosphere and ocean view directly bordering Sumatra Island provided a mesmerizing visual experience for the participants. The charm of a beautiful sunset on a private beach, coupled with several acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, as well as the largest infinity pool in Anyer, created an unforgettable atmosphere.

Participants are pampered with a relaxing natural experience, accompanied by the sound of the waves and the melodious chirping of birds. Not to forget, mouth-watering culinary delights complete the event.

The LAI 2024 Family Gathering event was filled with various interesting activities designed to strengthen relationships between employees. Samuel Diaz, one of the participants, revealed that through this event he was able to get to know more new colleagues, both from the head office and the printing house. "The gathering held games that were quite fun, so from there I started to get to know each other and feel a little closer," he said.

Supriyadi, a long-serving employee at LAI, gave a positive appreciation of the event. According to him, the event went well because almost all participants actively participated in the series of activities. "From departing from Bogor to Anyer, everyone seemed happy. This joy can improve better performance in the future," said Supriyadi. He hopes that similar events can be held again in the future by maintaining the good things that already exist.

Enthusiasm was also evident from the comments of Paskatia, a new employee who joined the Family Gathering after 4 years with LAI. Although she was unable to attend, she regretted her absence considering the event was exciting and only held once a year. Paskatia also gave suggestions for future events, "Maybe you can try to stay overnight or go to a place that is a bit far away. But the trip back and forth yesterday was already cool," she added.

Julian Loen, one of the participants, emphasized the importance of Family Gathering events for employees and companies. According to him, the event provides an opportunity to get to know each employee's family and background, thus strengthening the relationship between employees. "This will have a positive impact on productivity and harmony in the workplace," he explained.

Furthermore, Julian added that the event could also boost employees' morale as they felt that they were getting attention from LAI. This feeling of being appreciated and cared for is expected to increase employee loyalty and dedication to the company.

The LAI 2024 Family Gathering with the theme "Gelorakan Kebersamaan" has successfully achieved its goal of strengthening relationships between employees and refreshing morale. The event, held at Mambruk Hotel and Convention, Anyer, not only provided a pleasant experience for the participants, but also brought a positive impact to the overall performance of the organization.

Through the various activities held, LAI employees from various divisions and work locations had the opportunity to get to know each other better, build better communication, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness. This experience is expected to transfer into the daily work environment, increase productivity, and maintain harmony in the workplace.

With the positive response from the participants and the perceived benefits, LAI is expected to continue organizing similar events in the future, with improvements and innovations based on feedback from employees. Through these efforts, LAI demonstrates its commitment in paying attention to employee welfare and building a positive work culture, which will ultimately support the achievement of the organization's vision and mission in providing the best service to the community.
